Can we coolant alone without adding water?
3 bottles of coolant should be enough to fillup the tank.
It cost only RM48.

This is the reason i ask the above question:
Recently my car water pipe leakage and all water leak out while travel in the North south highway. So it is problem without water in the middle of the highway....am not going to tell the story that follows....

Now this is the point:
Later i find out that the tube connect to the buffer water tank(plastic one) was clogged as a result of rust accumulated inside the tube. And so the water pressure built up in the cooling system and that bust the water pipe.
So i was thinking if we don't use water at all but use coolant only in the cooling tank than there will be no rust accumulated, no rust to clogged water tube and so the above problem will never happen.

The answer will depend on what kind of coolant you're using. Some coolant are specifically made to be used with water and some are to be used 100% coolant. This will also depend on your cooling system too. Some cars use 100% coolant and most cars use coolant and water. For example, Toyota Long Life coolant specifically indicates for users not to exceed 70% coolant content. So it means you'll have to dilute it with at least 30% water.

Tips: If you see accumulation of sludge (something like greasy mud) or rust in your spare tank, it's time to clean the radiator tank (don't just simply flush with water). It'll get clogged sooner than you think.
